Our stores have those too. They’re like 95% bread, 4% lettuce, 1% meat. But they’ll fill you up.

It’s not even that big? And $7 seems too much. I could get 6 loaves of bread from the bakery, some meat, and cheese for that much
Edit: meant to say “6 subs/rolls [of that size]”. Don’t believe me? Check my replies.

The grocery stores around here use their close to expired or end of the package lunches to make these sandwiches. Not that there is anything wrong with this but if purchased I wouldn’t leave it in the fridge for multiple days eating bits at a time.

We have those here too, they’ $9.99 though. We call them a Lumberjack sandwich.

Don’t spend too long eating it, or you’ll get food poisoning and won’t be able to go to Duff Gardens.

Rainbow foods in the twin cities used to have the “BOSS” (big oversized sub sandwich?) for between $5 and $7 and would feed me for a couple days. I miss that.

We used to have them at a grocery store chain here in Minnesota. They were called The B.O.S.S. Big Oversized Sub Sandwich. They were like 5-6 meals worth

I miss those things. Lunch and dinner for two days for $7 bucks. Three or four days if I was inexplicably not hungry, two meals if I was starving and feeding the tapeworms…

Used to have a grocery store that had a stuffed sub like that for $4. I miss Gordy’s.

I had a coworker once bring a 9×13 casserole for lunch one day. He proceeded to eat most of it, felt very ill, and then went home early. That’s what seeing that big ass sandwich reminded me of.
